I basically decided most of the content of this journal will be related to music, specifically records- playing records, hearing records, buying records, digging for records, reading about records, writing about records. And tapes. IF YOU ARE READING THIS THERE ARE MAYBE TWO OPTIONS. You got here kind of randomly, or I handed you a tape.
Like the tapes, I will do what I am able to make this journal decent. Realize though, at some level with music, you like it or you don't like it and you can't explain why. That's how I hear it and that's what I'm trying to pass on more than Tae's rhymes were hot, 9th's beats were hot, etc. You (should) already know. Next question.
Conceptually I would like to share my experience of the world through music/of music through the world- experience comprised of unexpected delights, cultural awakenings and affirmations, and any associated arisings of socialization or social unrest. I will do what I am able to annotate these animations but at some point will simply expect the casual reader to know what I mean. KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING?
Also significant at least to me is at this juncture, I think this is the most bloggable part of my life. The most significant criterion behind this judgement is security. Now recognize that issues of security are not likely to go away, and may really "come with the territory-" that territory, of course, being the 6th ward. Pure allegations.
